Nacho De Marco, CEO and co-founder of BairesDev, has been appointed to the Forbes Technology Council, an invitation-only community for world-class CIOs, CTOs and top technology executives.
The Forbes Technology Council is an extension of Forbes Media Company, made up of hand-selected Technology professionals, conforming a network of highly-skilled industry leaders. The Council’s aim is to strengthen the bonds between these industry leaders, enable tighter collaboration between their companies, facilitate the spread of ideas and pioneering projects and bring together great minds to inspire the next generation of Tech leaders.
Nacho De Marco founded BairesDev in 2009, which is now the fastest growing Software Development company in Latin America with over 550 employees working across the region. A developer by trade with a bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering and an MBA, Nacho is a thought leader in the Software Outsourcing industry as a published author and a regular Forbes.com, VentureBeat.com and Business.com columnist on the subject.
“It is an honor to represent Latin America as one of the select few Latam members on the Forbes Tech Council. I take this as a sign of the importance and relevance that the region is gaining on the global software development market” De Marco commented.
Scott Gerber, founder of Forbes Councils, has said, “We are honored to welcome Nacho De Marco into the community. Our mission with Forbes Councils is to curate successful professionals from every industry, creating a vetted, social capital-driven network that helps every member make an even greater impact on the business world.”
Nacho hopes he can continue to support the development of Tech talent in Latin America and takes on the challenge of Forbes to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs within the region as a member of the Technology Council.
