Diego De Marco is the Chief R&D Officer at BairesDev. He leads the research and definition of the technologies and engineering practices that BairesDev's R&D teams apply to create frameworks, applications, and business-wide solutions.
Diego founded his first company at 21, focused on automation projects spanning hardware, firmware, and software within the intelligent transportation systems (ITS) industry. After selling the company in 2006, he continued in the sector before expanding into IoT, where he founded and scaled additional ventures. For 30+ years, he has built engineering teams that operate with transparency and value diversity, creating products with real-world impact.
Diego holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Buenos Aires. Outside his core role, Diego has co-authored research on remote patient monitoring for hearing disabilities, consults in healthcare technology, and still codes and designs in his free time.
